Review

Single-release path review

Before a version ships, we walk the changed screens against the old path and list what a returning person will not recognise.

Single-release path review

Four working days · Remote walkthrough with a George Town readout if wanted · From RM 3,800 per release

When a release moves a button, splits a form, or inserts a permission prompt, returning people lose the path they already learned. This review is a comparison walk: yesterday’s sequence beside today’s.

You send the release notes in plain language, a build or testflight, and the three screens you believe changed. We walk the whole task anyway, because a change in the middle often shows up as a stall two screens later.

The deliverable is a short letter (about four pages) plus a two-column list: old step, new step. We mark where a person who last opened the app a month ago will hesitate. We do not rank “severity” with colour scores. We describe the hesitation in the person’s words when we have them, or in ours when we do not.

Best booked at least six working days before freeze. If the build is still moving daily, wait until the path is stable enough to walk twice.
